The production of injection molded parts made from thermoplastics is a relatively young technology. It was unable to embark upon its triumphant advance until the screw injection machine was invented in 1956, and introduced to the market in a form which was capable of producing large series lots. F. Morat & Co. GmbH had already begun molding plastic parts in 1963, and is thus a pioneer in this high-tech field. Mastering the Required Technologies

F. Morat & Co. GmbH has full control over the high-tech processes required for moulding gear wheels, producing components from a broad range of various materials and assembling small gearboxes and other complete units.

Injection Molding

All technical thermoplastics (except PVC) can be processed with part weights ranging from 0.02 to 1000 grams.  

Customized Solutions in Series Production

We offer our customers a broad range of services from the development of individualised products right on up to series production with the highest quality standards. Our foremost priority is providing our customers with custom tailored solutions for their individual needs.

Developing Solutions

You define the task, and we develop a solution which is designed to ensure efficient manufacturing using the most up-to-date technologies and methods.

CAD

After you have approved our design proposal, final engineering of your product is launched, and the required tools and moulds are laid out at the same time. These services are provided by our own in-house personnel as well.

Mold Making

As soon as the product design has been finalized on paper, we start fabricating the required moulds. We are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to this end, including CNC milling machines, wire EDM, etc.

Pilot Series Samples

Before beginning series production, samples of our proposed solution are produced in a pilot series.

Series Production

After pilot series sample parts have been approved, we launch series production of lot quantities agreed upon with the customer. Our state-of- the-art machines (approximately 45 injection moulding machines at the time of printing) and qualified production employees assure that your orders are filled as specified.
